A city has been discovered under water by archaelogists

The head of a 5.4 metre statue of red granite representing the god Hapi, which decorated the temple of the underwater ancient city of Heracleion. the god of the flooding of the Nile, a symbol of abundance and fertility, has never been discovered at such a large scale. This points to his importance for the Canopic region.
